Snowstorm

Snowstorm is a visual novel made in Ren'py for the 'My First Game Jam: Winter 2020' the theme for the jam was cold, so I made a game about two house cats lost in a snowstorm.  You can play as Chestnut or Cinnamon, and you have to find each other. 

​

Chestnut is a brave cat, and it was their idea to go outside get food in the first place. They are independent, so when they first get lost they aren't that scared but they realise that they need Cinnamon. 

​

Cinnamon is a scared cat, and only went outside because they trusted Chestnut. During the game, Cinnamon learns how to be independent and can find their way back to Chestnut. 

​

I released Snowstorm on the 3rd of February 2020, using my own art and code, but someone else's (copyright-free) music. I began learning how to make music in June and replaced the music with my own on the 15th of July.
